Forum: Stunt Project Stuff Topic: Pia Stunt Rox --------------------- RollstuhlfahrerBob: Hey guys:) Think I'm with the fewer when saying I'm from Germany writing on SB. First I'd like to introduce myself: I'm 17 years old, living in Bavaria in Germany. At the age of 15 I bought a Gilera Dna, got cauht twice for driving without insurance, paperz and license. After that my parents forbid me to drive on the streets. So I made it completely HighEnd. Spend such a lot of money in Part I'd never need. Unhappily I didn't know this that time. Well, in the end I sold most of the parts and got myself a aerox for stunting. When I forst drove the Minarelli engine I nearly collapsed. This couldn't go afar like this! Now I'm goin to hang in my DNA engine to stunt with an "Piaggio Aerox!. Didn't hear something like that befor, hu?:D The only problem is where to take the subframe on the aerox frame? I don't wanna fix this by enlarging the minasubframe, because in that kinda case the engine would get far too wide in the back of the scoot. Could anybody answer me what happend if I totally fixed the subframe and only had the front and rear suspension for stunting? That would at least make the situation lotta easier:lol: So here are some pictures showing how i could mount the engine (yap, they look kinda crappy but that's not true to be honest ): Ups, almost forgot the setup (not final): Yasuni R PM Tuning X-Tech 70cc AC Piaggio (similiar to MHR Replica) Motoforce Evolution Crankshaft with C4 Bearings Tillotson Kartcarbureator 24mm V-Force V3 by Stage6 Dr Pulley Hit clutch J.Costa Vario Stage6 belt Still to come: [propably] BCD handlebar [propably] BCD handlebar mount Doppler front breaking system 12 o'clock bar ... Thanks for your attention + help:P sfreak_16: minarelli rulez my friend...i don't like piaggio engines (except big bore)...so i don't like what you are doing right now... RollstuhlfahrerBob: Well, that may be what you think. I've always been driving piaggio and just couldn't accept the minarelli "characteristics". I also don't have the money to get me a complete minarelli setup. Instead the pia is just lyin' roun. So I decided to take this one. Piaggio rulez as well:wink: ! It always depends on the point of view. Some may say the like mina more, other pia. Who cares? Isn't it all about the fun?8) sfreak_16: true that, it's all about fun...but minarelli also goes much better with only base setup...i don't know...i respect the project though Waynder: stock aerox rulz for stunting... woudnt change the engine... but if ya wanna... make engine holders simular to those that aprilia SR 125/150 has... it uses 2 side selen blocks...its very strong and stable solution... Its not event that much trouble to make it... try blueprints.stuntbase.com to see how it all looks or if you can find sr 125/150 at some friends... soon as you see, you will understand everything... i did 2 conversions minarelli/piaggio and both time used sr125/150 solution... not a single problem... RollstuhlfahrerBob: Very good hint, mate, thank you! The aerox is going to be a street/stunt aerox 'cause if the police got me another time I'm gonna get busted although for a short time only. I'm not too keen on that so the engine should also be a good "getaway-engine" It needs enough power to get the 14 inch rear rim rollin' and lift up the front. Think the whole scoot's gonna get longer anyway when holding a pia engine. Do you have pictures how you did it? And could you tell me what is meant with selen blocks? Could you though imagine what happend if I drove it with no moving object between the frame and the engine except the rear shock? Or would you rather recommend me to drive with a subframe? €dit: How did you manage it to limit the subframes movement? You know there is this "box" that the subframe is pushed in when being installed, that doesn't let the subframe move too high or down. Do you know what I mean? RollstuhlfahrerBob: Update: [Pictures will follow] Doppler handlebar mount already mounted. Wheelbase is way to long for stuntin in my opinion. Just took the piaggio subframe between the mina subframe. Worked this far. This is not final! @ Waynder --> refering to the post I made before: Could you answer me the questions, please8) Keep it goin guys Waynder: first thing wehn i come home il post pics.... am at racetrack now =) RollstuhlfahrerBob: Thanks a lot, Waynder! RollstuhlfahrerBob: Update: There won't be a Pia Rox anymore; it never really existed anyway:) Got a minarelli engine with broken cylinder now. Still thinkin* about replacing it with 70cc although everyone keeps sayin to use the oricylinder. Handlebar is pretty wide. Thought of my bike when I bought it. I think its a lot easier to balance with a wider handlebar, on a bicycle at least8) My mount was made by Doppler and absolutely sucked. The screws drilled the shit out of that thing. No word from Doppler when I told them . Doesn't Andreas drive the same mount?! I'm gonna get me a Hebo mount now if i don't get a cheaper one of one of my friends. Also I bought a exhaust, because I didn't have one. Do you guys know Stage6? It's a Stage6 Pro Replica a little rusty but got some nice power in deeper rpms and a pretty wide rpm range to use, so its easy to "adjust" and easy to use 'cause it doesn't have a point the power suddenly comes.. I'll make pics the following days, if anybody should be interested:D RollstuhlfahrerBob: New Paintjob + cylinder on its postway to my house:D Pics: Comments?:P don_kvan: dont like black color on front... but funky shit... cool... :D Hene: Nice, I like that pink color. I'm going propably paint my Rox to pink white. What kind of paint did you used? Spray? I'm going to paint them with Belton Premium. Do you know that spray? And when you are going to make a 12 bar and start to stunt with it?? RollstuhlfahrerBob: Painted it with Motip Spray from Easyparts. Bought a new Motoforce Evolution Crankshaft for 62 Euros including shipping that should be here by Monday :D Also ordered new brake pads by Stage6 (the sport edition) + the Stage6 CNC Drive 12 o'clock bar is a word:oops: I just didn't really want to build one yet caused by lazyness :P More to come, soon Owt Mike: where did you get that handlebar? :D:D:D RollstuhlfahrerBob: Owt Mike wrote (View Post): › docWrite("quote")where did you get that handlebar? :D:D:D Bought it from easyparts.nl for bout 20€ :) Its pretty wide - I think 81cm. I'm not sure if I can really trust them in meaning of being stable enough to stunt as they even minimally bend when I lean on them:lol: I'm thinking about getting the BCD or similiar handlebars and the Hebo mount soon (soon means when I'm fluid again which might take some time as I'm student and haven't begun to work yet:roll:) Btw: Did anyone ever try the Kiesler Wide V2 rim for stunting? Might be easier to control because it stretches the tire. Projectupdate: Nothing new since SaWe 09 in Germany. Was there anybody out of SB?
