Crash protectors (sliders) on Aprilia SR
People always ask me where to put sliders to optimaly protect their scooter. Everybody can buy a slider, but lots of them put it in most shityest place ever... I'we seen some bozos puting it directly on farings.. lol... Yup... Its all good until you crash... And then you make more damage then without slider... Or some people do it right but on wrong place and with very loosy mounting and everything goes to hell on first bigger crash.
Here is my system that i used for a year now.. and its proven PERFECT! Not a scratch on scoot...

Sistem is rathar simple. I just made metal rods and welded them on scooters chasis. And in future if for any reason you whant sliders gone... You just flex them off. On every end of rod there is thread where i put my sliders. Screws that i use for sliders are made of inox or ttitanium (depandes on how lucky i am to find titan) so they dont broke during crash. And when after lots of crashes my sliders comes to an end.. i just unscrew it and put another... And thats basicly it...

Here is setup for front and middle sliders.

And here it is how scooter looks after 4897349783893 crahes and the setup of rear sliders (i puted them on 12 bar). Thats also one of the reasons why i like strong bar... Mine cant be bent sideways like most cheesy bars so i am able to put sliders there without worry that something will go wrong.
