Stunt Fuel tank
|
Often problem while doing long wheelies or twelves is fuel leeking. Here is one of the solution. This is the way that i used on my SR, but on most of scooters are same principles.
---------------------------------
Leeking cames from iberlauf on carburator and fuel tank.
X marks the spot of leeking place on tank. And you cant simply close those places cuz scooter will choke then and fuel will not go to the carb.
Also there is a problem with long wheelies, cuz scooter rans out of fuel and it losses power so it brings it down. thats hapenin because tank is lower than carburator while on rear wheel, and fuel cant go up.
Solution is next...
You need to move tank under the seat, and turn it that way so air iberlauf is looking forward (x marks the spot)
Easiest way is to use 5l cart tank. They are small enought to fit under tha seat and transparent so you can see how much fuel u got left.
This way that spot will be highest place while wheeling and no fuel will be leeking, and u get the tank to be higher than carburator, so scoot will be taking fuel all the time
There is also problem of leeking on carb. We solved this by using 45° mainfold (Malossi and polini have it) and you can make your own |
