This is my first post here, but i think this is the right way to present my self :P My friend rbagoros show me that board and i like it very much at the moment!
I´m not a stunter, but i´m looking forward to do something about this :oops: 2 years ago i bought a yamaha bw´s and modified it, so it became quite fast... here some photos:

The final setup looked something like that:

Few months ago we puted the engine on a minibike frame.... i must say this is a prety wild thing :twisted:






That mens that my yamaha has no engine at the moment and here is the part were my "scooter dreams" are going to come true :oops:

So i bought a piaggio 180ccm, 2 stroke engine from gilera runner. Stock it has nearly 20hp, but it is going to be modified :P




Until today i took the engine apart and clean it well. At the moment i´m waiting for some engine parts and next week the scooter shold run (that are only the plans). Here some more pics:

The cooling system will consist of 2 runner 50 radiators with 12cm Papst fans:

Next week i (and a mechanic-friend of mine) will try to fix the engine and the cooling system to the frame.... sure there will be some problems, but it should work :roll:

The setup will be:

Malossi MHR zylinder-head

LeoVinci ZX 180
PWK 24
Stage6 aspiration mouth
Stage6 280mm floatnig disc
Koso Turbine air filter
...and other stuff

I´m also thinking about 12o´clock but first the scooter schould run "normaly". Coments are welcome :wink:

Until i´m waiting for other parts, there are things like cleaning, painting, etc. to do. So today i painted the ventilators, rear shock absorber and the plastic which comes over the magnet. Here my favourite parts...ready to go:P

I got two packages today..... i can´t stop looking at the parts :oops: The one are the parts from SC:
-Malossi MHR vario
-Malossi zylinderhead
-Malossi kevlar belt
-Malossi Clutch springs
-small stuff like-transmission oil, exhaust seal, "kickstarterrietzel", etc.







The other one is used oversize disc stage6 280mm... it is like new... used only few km.




I´m still waiting for some piaggio original parts like oil/water-pump belt, piston rings and the parts from SA... aspiration mouth and Koso Turbine air filter. Next week the project will really start :)


13.2.2007








Today we put the shock absorbers from beta to my original cross, wich we had to modify. Shock absorbers also had to be changed, because of the rim from gilera.
I also made a spacer for the oversize disc so the gripper is in optimal position.
Tomorow we will try to put the gilera and yamaha frame together. I´m also thinking about some frame-reinforcements, because now it looks like a bicycle.

Today i didn´t have many time, so i made only some fine adjustmens on the front braking system (new pads-sinter racing, etc.). Here the final photo of the front :

It was valentin`s day so i was with my girlfriend.... unbelivable but there are still some things more important then scooter :oops:

On friday i got some parts from SA and from italy. The PWk had to be modified so now it fits perfectly. I also got the zx 180... here some pics :oops:

Today i got the piston rings and so i put the engine together....also the exhaust. Here some pics:

I have to learn a lot this time, so i work only at small things like electrics, etc. I got the air intake cover for vario by typhoon 125 (fits perfectly), so i don´t need so long to take the engine cover down. I also got SST shirt from "my bitch" Rocket..... nice job :D

Today i mounted the engine on the frame, boost botle, cooling fans and continued on the electrics. Here some pics:

My friend dani helped me by finishing electrics and i mounted the fluid box from beta...it fits very nice, so there are no probblems with plastics. And then we started the engine..... it started after the 3rd shot!! I didn´t drive it, because there is no holder for the rear shock absorber ( should be done yesterday, but i was to late to buy some steel for it). I prepaired the rims for painting adn today we will veld the holder for the rear shock absorber. Here two pics of how it looks lat the moment:






I also ordered Dhl... hope it will arrive this week :P

I put the rims on, checked the screws and drove few km with the scooter... All i can say: this is sick :shock: :shock: :shock:

It goes like a hell.... now i see how 20+PS on a bw´s is like..... I can´t describe it, because the feeling is just fuc*** great :D At the moment, driving is pretty dangerous: too high at the back and no front brake (have to buy the pipe). Back again! Sorry because i wasn´t posting anymore, but i had no time and there is another projekt happening at the moment (4 wheels/1000kg/200ps+) :twisted: Here some photos from the last two months.... hope you like it. There are some movie clips, but rather bad. Don´t worry, certainly there will be a long video of minibike with the bw´s engine and bw´s 180, when everything is ready to go :wink:

great job guys i really like it, but i think you made mistakes about exhausts on booth engines, for bw's setup that technigas rs70 is not enough, and for 180 engine i heard that zx180 is not too good maybe even worse than stock, but everything else is great just keep the good work;)

and i believe that minibike is going like hell :twisted: is it possible to stop it normaly :D

You are right....the rs70 was never enought but it works god. For this engine i had no exhaust and the price difference between zx 180 and stock was less then 30€ ... that´s why i bought the zx (better quality and look :oops: ).

PS: it´s not possible to stop it normaly :lol:

Very nice project.I'll also put some piaggio engine to my derbi,but it would be 125 and this photos will sure help me :wink:
