Subject:  Aprilia or Yamaha or Peugeot?
hi guys, I am a newbie. Ive only discovered scooter stunting yesterday and i must say im hooked! ive ever only ridden big bikes and dirt bikes. Ive done my search but not much has been said about the Aprilia SR50R Factory. isit not good? Basicaly ive narrowed down my options to the Aprilia sr50r factory or the Yamaha Aerox YQ50. Both look hot to me but which will be a good bike to practice stunts on? Ive read that fuel injected bikes aint good? is that true too? I went to look at a Peugeot Ludix Snake today and i quite like it too but i didnt test ride it. I live in Australia by the way :) Nice meeting u guys!

Factory model has injection if 'm right? No it's not good, fuel tank half full, 5 sec in balance point and it choke...you can't wheelie it more than 5 sec...you can but you must have tank full all the time...

Peugeot? No, it has bad engine, and somebody said on this forum that it has very bad rear brake...

Aerox...one of the best scooters for stunt...i drove it with 70ccm setup and the original setup...either way it goes up very easy...my choice

thanks for the reply. I really like the SR50R factory but yea i guess its injected. If you didnt tell me I would have bought it haha. I didnt know also that injected bikes will choke when wheelying, i thought it was the carby ones that would do that.

Peugeot bad engine? hmm pity

AEROX is rare ass over here in australia. Does it matter which year? i found a 2002 max biaggi limited edition. It is however a 100cc. Does it matter if its 100 or 50cc? Which is better?

Aerox hasn't changed...the first models are exactly the same as new models...50ccm is different than 100ccm...

main difference is that 100ccm has rear drum brake and air cooled engine...50ccm has rear disc brake (better) and liquid cooled engine (for stunt it will probably overheat if it's stunted without a breake to cool down, but LC has more power than AC)...

100ccm is not engine with much power...i never saw anybody that stunt on 100ccm...if you put 70ccm (some base cylinder, not with much power) it will be faster than 100ccm...100ccm has around 8-9HP if i'm right, and base 70ccm has around 10-11HP with exhaust and all that is necessary to work right...

but my choice is still Aerox...i never drove one with 100ccm, but my friend had...and believe me, it can wheelie pretty good...

oke... like this...

There are 2 kinds of SR 50R... Normal and Factory... FActory has some advanced hi tech stuff but its also injected... also is more expensive...

Factory is stuntable but normal is waaay better...

I my self stunt on SR 172R ;)

Aerox 50 is defently buy best... Old school engine, nice lookin, hella good for stoppies, has both discs... Needs none or very little mods to make it full stuntable...

Peugeot? Geta fuck away from that shit =)

thanks for the information. To be honest im not really a big fan of hardcore stunts like u guys do. Im pretty much only interested in doing balance wheelies or long wheelies. I dont think there are any 2nd hand aerox in this side of the world.
