Here i have pics of the new dellorta 19mm carb (pnb619) and the old standard carb (pnb12). I have tried to cover each angle of each carb to show the difference(sorry for the quality of the photos).I am wondering if this new carb is the right one as I bought it of ebay and I am not sure if that is the carb that all you guys use.I would greatly appreciate any help because this new carb cost a lot of money.Thanks.

Well this seems to be the usual Dellorto PHBG 19 carbureator almost everyone uses.
The cable of your gashandle should fit. It might be a little too short because of the bigger “hole” in the carbureator making your cable need more space. Therefore you have the screw on top of the carbureator. Just take it out and your cable will be a bit longer. If that still should not be enough, try to cut the outer part of your cable to make it longer in that way if possible. But if you cut it remember to cut it so you can put the screw back in to adjust it perfectly Wink

Was this even your problem? Or did you think of something absolutely different?

No it's not just the throttle cable that doesn't seem to match up.aaathe other pipes of the old carb don't seem to fit or have anywhere to go onto the dellorta carb.I will work on it this weekend and see what I can come up with.

I think I know now what you meant. The golden pin on this picture (in the left) is where you have to put you gasoline.

When you look at it from the top you see to black cableguides. The one in the middle is for your gashandle. The other one is your choke. You should insert a manual choke there. Your old carbureator had an electronic shock. This is a manual one.

There are also two silver pins lookin downwards, one on each side of it. You can leave them like this.

Seems as if you have no vacuum pin and no oil pin so you need to mix yourself.

But I'm not sure what the thing in the middle on the picture shows. Is this another pin?

Hope I could help you.
